What is sugar waxing?

The process of removing hair from the face and body using natural ingredients.

Does the sugar wax remove hair from the face and body?

Yes, the natural ingredients used in our products work great on both face and body.

Is sugar waxing safe for both the face and body?

Yes, the natural ingredients used in our products are safe for both face and body.

Is the wax good for sensitive skin?

Yes, the natural ingredients used in our products work great with sensitive skin including eczema and psoriasis prone skin. No chemicals or harsh resins are used in the making of any of the products; this greatly decreasing the chances of experiencing any irritation.

How long does sugar waxing results last?

Typically, one month. (Compare to 1-2 days with shaving.)

What length does the hair have to be in order to wax?

At least 1 mm of hair is needed for sugar waxing. (Compare to 3 mm needed for traditional waxing)

Can the sugar wax be used with strips and without strips?

Yes. The wax has a medium-firm consistency which is great for waxing without strips. When warmed, the wax spreads out fairly thin onto the skin allowing for an effortless application for use with strips.

Can you use the sugar wax at room temperature?

Yes. The wax is of a medium-firm consistency; you could use a metal spoon to scoop it out. However, we recommend warming the jar in the microwave for 10 seconds for ease of getting the wax out of the jar.

Is sugar waxing painful?

Sugar waxing is far less painful compared to traditional waxing being that the sugar wax does not contain harsh resins. Resins stick to live skin cells which makes traditional waxing so painful. The natural ingredients in sugar wax only sticks to dead skin cells, not live skin cells, significantly decrease the pain level.

Is the sugar wax water soluble?

Yes, the sugar wax is water soluble. This makes washing and reusing our muslin strips effortless.
